The series drew me in with it's continuity. Other shows I watched at the time didn't have long running plot lines and the events of one episode rarely effected the events of the next. Status quo changes were made....this was all pretty revolutionary for meat a young age! I know there are other cartoons from this time period and before that did this, but I hadn't seen them.
The series had it's faults....ohh boy did it...but it brought in MANY elements from the comics.
Spectacular Spider-Man is a much better show, and could've gone MANY places had it not been canceled, but the 90's show will always have a special place in my heart. I still hear Christopher Daniel Barnes when I read the comics...
