While I could not be less excited for this series... I am very happy to see Josh Keaton is back as the voice of Spidey. As far as I'm concerned, he is to Spidey what Kevin Conroy is to Batman. And his presence makes me more likely to check the series out. More than any other actor, Josh IS Spider-Man.

J.K. as JJ was a bold and wise move on their part. Not feeling Spidey's VA though...Keaton's grown on me.

The whole superhero team/Fury wristwatch smacks of YJ though...sigh....

Except not really since YJ didn't invent the Superhero team show. We still know little about the show anyway.

Anyway, it's cool that Simmons is JJJ in the show. Though not too unexpected since he has done voice work for animated shows before( General Eiling in Justice League Unlimited and White Knight in Generator Rex, among others).

Octobots will play into an Avengers episodes, hmm sounds familiar, especially with Ramos being credited as one of the main inspirations for art design, along with Stuart Immonen (not Bagley Ultimate stuff, sadface).

Oh and Spider-Ham will play a part.

In the recent Cup O'Joe panel they talked about the show and released some designs for it.

That's cooler looking than the original teaser poster. The first looked really...off, for some reason.

I'm wondering, why did they get comic book artists for the concept art? But whatever, Paolo Rivera's art is there, with bigger eyes!

Does anybody recognize the others? I know the Venom one is by Ramos, the page with all the pictures of Spidey swinging is by Rivera, and the last one looks like Bagley.

It may look better but I doubt the rest of it will be better. I loved that damn show, despite the fish eyes and action figure arms.
