Well, if I remember correctly,
Planet of the Symbiotes established that the only reason the Venom symbiote was locked up in that glass tube on Battleworld was because the other symbiotes "thought it was insane." (Ie: it
didn't want to completely control it's host and go on a killing spree, it just wanted to kick it with Peter and
have some wacky adventures together!) I don't see any reason why Pete, who we've seen countless times in the past overcoming the imposible due to sheer force of will and strength of convictions being able to form a mutual partnership with the
Venom symbiote, which technically wasn't evil until it bonded with Brock.
But still, I think the line of symbiote-themed characters should've ended with Carnage. (Seriously,
Hybrid???)
