PRO AMAZING SPIDER-MAN = ZETA HOUSE

Postby Irishlad » Thu Aug 07, 2008 11:52 am

OK Folks welcome to Zeta House for all those that are enjoying the Amazing Spider-Man.
Ok you don’t Have to be in LOVE with ASM’s brand new day and you certainly don’t have to like OMD but this fraternity is open to all who are currently enjoying Spider-Man’s adventures in the flagship book.
We used to be called the PRO BND faction but that tagline had been dropped for a few issues now so it's just plain 'ol PRO Amazing Spider-Man = ZETA HOUSE

EXCELSIOR!

And Hey you guys, if you feel like putting your Frat House name into your sig then feel free. No pressure - we are not trying to be a hive mind like the other lot!

Remember this is all just a bit of a skit, a bit of craic (in the Irish sense) So hop on board -- the Zeta bus is comin’ and everybody’s runnin’ ...

More anon.
UPDATE 24/02/2012 I have now resigned leadership of the club to become President Emeritus (I ain't got the time, bub) -- your new leader and President is Iron Patriot!!
Congrats to him.

"The ground quakes and the heavens cry tears of blood when Kevin gives out his brand of Crawlspace justice. Babies cry, grown men avert their eyes, women pass out and even the wind gives pause. Kevin’s eyes glow and lightning crackles around them. It’s pretty epic and definitely not for the timid." - Michael Bailey

The Charter...sort of...

Postby Irishlad » Thu Aug 07, 2008 12:46 pm

Ok you don’t Have to be in LOVE with ASM’s new direction and you certainly don’t have to like OMD but this fraternity is open to all who are currently enjoying Spider-Man’s adventures in ASM.
Names will be dispensed according to the surnames of the cast and crew of Animal house ...so the first half dozen names are up for grabs.
I’m taking Landis as my name
The next few on the list are up for grabs – first come first served!
Ramis
Belushi
Matheson
Hulce
Riegert
Furst
Bacon
Allen

And BD seeing as you’re the only Mod not aligned to the “darkside” we’d love to have you.

Remember this is all just a bit of a skit, a bit of craic (in the Irish sense) So hop on board -- the Zeta bus is comin’ and everybody’s runnin’ ...

I haven't actually read any BND properly yet (waiting for TPBs instead of irritating premiere hardcovers), but am greatly enjoying flicking through them in store...

Also, is this fraternity going to be overwhelmingly based in the British Isles? We have me in London, MacGargan from Norwich and IrishLad...

Man I just got you're PM and sorry for leaving you hanging like that but I was on a train to London to watch The Dark Knight at Imax and that was truly awesome. But back here and I'm telling you that it's time to make room for me.

So, who's the real sicko, America? Me, for carrying out this little prank? The producers and executives at the network, who let it all happen-- or is it you people, who mindlessly watched it all on your television sets? - The Joker
No one stands on the top of the world. Not you, not me, not even Gods. But the unbearable vacancy of the throne in the sky is over. From now on...I will be sitting on it. - Sosuke Aizen
Smoking marijuana, eating Cheetos and masturbating do not constitute plans in my book. - Walter White
Look straight ahead. Look squarely at the people you're killing. And don't forget them. Never...forget them. Because they won't forget you.

NickMB make's a good point, awful lot of readers from old Blighty seeming to like BND.
Is it a geographical trend?
