Raining like crazy here. As far as I know, my friends and relatives are fine. The rest of Luzon isn't.

Going back to China in ten days, so I'm picking up a lot more comics. Got Avenging Spider-Man #9-10 and Captain Marvel #1 on a whim. Haven't done that at all, especially with a new series.

Irishlad wrote:I'm a bit behind but what did you think of the Ends of the Earth finale? Thought the conclusion wasn't as satisfying as I'd hoped for. This often happens with multi part stories as the end seems to wrap far too quickly. For instance the previous shorter stories with Spidey and the Torch and Spidey and Grady Scrapps were concluded very nicely.
Anyhoo onto No Turning Back....

Is it worth getting Slott's run since Big Time? I've got up until the first proper issue of Spider-Island anyway, but has his run been good enough to validate me coming back and collecting, completing my collection from the start of BND up until the present?

Irishlad wrote:When did you quit reading ASM? If you've enjoyed recent issues then start collecting from Slott's solo run. Why don't you be very bold and cherry pick a few issue from a torrent feed and if you like them - go forth and conquer. Not that I'm endorsing reading pirated comics! You could always pick up a cheap collection of Slott's issue on Amazon or ebay. And then get the single issues.
AS For collecting all of BND? Well that's a loaded one. AS you know it's a mixed bag but there were some nice runs in it.
