It's Tuesday - time for MARVEL FIGHT CLUB!

"Hello, kiddies! Your old pal the Crypt Keeper's crashing the party to bring you Halloween tricks or treats - heavy on the tricks! AHAHAHAHA!

"While Killerwog and She-Punk are on a zombie-fied vacation I'm having fun lining up matches to DIE for. Tonight's Terror Tale centers around a sorcerous showdown in a mystical place. I call it... 'Trial By STONE!'

"The first greedy git fighting tonight is the ruler of his own realm, where he himself reigns supreme. He's a flame-headed and fearsome fiend who is always looking for more power and more diabolical ways to express it. This guy's got moxie - DORMAMMU!"

Image

"Going up against him is another realm rules, this time from a dream dimension where his domain is literally the stuff of nightare. In fact, that's his name! NIGHTMARE! AHAHAHAHA!"

Image

"These two titans or terror will be battling over Stonehenge in England. Hey, who says you can't get blood from a stone?"

Image

"Ahh, Stonehenge! On Tuesdays, it was human sacrifices to pagan druidic gods. On Friday - all you can eat venison night! The good times in these stones were never dull but always rocky! AHAHAHAHA!

"Two dimensional colossi duke it out for a bunch of rocks! Game On, Fright Fans!

"For George Berryman, Killerwog and She-Punk this is Cryptsy sayin' "If it's not Baroque, kill it!" AHAHAHAHA!!"

I'm giving this to Dormammu. This takes place in the real world, so both of them are weaker. The difference to me is that I know Mammogram guy can get dirty and really fight. I always thought Nightmare was more of a trickster type character and less prone to getting down and dirty outside of his realm. Sort of like Freddy Krueger.

I think the fight venue and the nature of the characters tips this in Doorknob's favor.

I'm open to being persuaded otherwise. I'm not an expert on either character.

I just see this as them flinging magical energies at each other and then seeing who has the more imposing sinister laugh.

Two people voted for Nightmare and 4 for Dormammu. I'd like to know why people are voting the way they are in this match. I'm curious.

Big D, for sure! If Dr. Strange can beat Nightmare easily, but struggles against Dormammu...well, that's like a math problem!

The man's head is on fire. Reason enough to vote for Dormammu...

Dormammu seems MUCH more powerful than Nightmare. Whereas Dormammu seeks to destroy realities:
Wiki:
Dormammu’s power combined with the force of the Evil Eye was enough to nearly crush the entire Marvel Universe by merging it with the Dark Dimension, showing his potential to threaten entire realities with sufficient might.

Nightmare just seems to toy with them (and sometimes lacks the focus to do even that!):
Wiki:
Nightmare expressed that he had grown bored and run out of ideas to torment dreamers with. He visited the realms of mortals to seek 'motivation.'

Maybe a good ass-kicking would motivate him...and Dormammu's more than ready to deliver it! 8)

"Whether Aunt May dies or not isn't the question. If she dies, does it mean anything beyond a brief sales spike because collectors/speculators think they'll be able to make a profit selling the book later? That is the question. Back when, Stan and company won our hearts and minds. I cared about Spider-Man and the other Marvel characters as though they were friends. I cared every time Aunt May got sick. That's what good creative work does."

Nightmare would struggle against Eddie Kruger, while Dormammu...he can control tne Dark Dimension and at times was an equal to Doctor Strange...this is simply like pitting the Ringer against Doc Ock...

Dormammu wins this one hands down. He just brings more sheer magical power to the battle than Nightmare.

I'd still like to know why those three people voted for Nightmare. I'm legitimately curious.

Same reason anyone would vote for Ash Williams over any Predator...

JR Fettingers Marvel:I'd hire Spideydude to be me at conventions, with his cowboy hat, a cigar sticking out of his mouth, and a beer in his hand because he would certainly look a lot "cooler" and "more relatable" to the fanbase that a short, gray haired middle aged man.

Yes. But when it's close, I like to tie it. I'm ready for the George Berryman Wing of the Fight Club Hall of Fame Museum.

Now, two things here. Is this a Marvel Fight Club or DC vs Marvel? Both of these guys are Marvel characters right? Second, Dormammu didn't get his wrap up either. Flame head is too cool not to get it.
