You mean the Star Wars Holiday Special didn't do him justice?

A setback which he survived. Oh and that was AFTER facing Darth Vader...

He's also killed Wookies with his bare hands.

He also survived THREE TRIPS to the Sarlaac pit!

He led the whole group of Mandolorian Warriors!

Yeah, well as badass as he may be, don't forget that he was also introduced in the Star Wars Holiday Special, so...um...yeah...
Besides, he had a death scene worthy of Wile E Coyote!

Samus could've kicked the Sarlaac's ass, any day!
She's faster, seems to have better weaponry, and fights giant alien monsters on a regular basis! She gets my vote.

That's what good creative work does."

His father killed half a dozen Jedi with his bare hands, and Boba is shown to be twice the hunter that his dad is. I have to go with Fett, even though I love Samus Aran.

Call it a death scene all you want, but Fett survived the Sarlaac and once again...

HAS GONE TOE TO TOE WITH VADER..

About the suit...

Fett wore a power armor liner. This liner shirt had a micro energy field projector and two layers of thin ceramic plates, in order to disperse physical and blast impacts, reducing injuries and likelihood of knockdowns. The power liner also gave him increased protection from fire, acid, intense heat, and cold. His main clothing was a reinforced armor mesh battle/flight suit. The inner lining of the suit blocked poisons and corrosives for a period of time.

As for Samus...when asked about her weakness on another message board I found..

an annoying habit of being caught off guard at the beginnings of adventures, leading to her suit malfunctioning and reverting to the original Power Suit.

I've never heard of Fett's suit malfunctioning aside from the Sarlaac incident.
In Metroid Fusion, Samus is infected by the X-parasites, and her Power Suit has to be removed to keep her from dying. And in Super Metroid, if I remember correctly, Samus starts anew on Zebes because her fully-powered suit from the end of Metroid II was damaged when Ridley destroyed the Galactic Federation station in the game's beginning.

Oh and apparently a weakness of hers is ice. Read that on a Nintendo wiki.

I'm sure Fett can get some ice.

Samus's suit malfunctions at the beginning of adventures because the games are structured around recollecting her powers. It's a contrivance to make the games more fun and challenging than they would be if she started off uber-powered. But in the challenge it was specified that we're talking about the fully-powered Samus. Boba Fett doesn't stand a chance. Besides, it takes a cybernetic pterodactyl blowing up a space station to damage her suit. All it takes to damage Boba Fett's suit is tapping him on the back with a stick. I don't care if Boba Fett killed Godzilla with his pinky in the expanded universe, he just doesn't have Samus's firepower.

Saying this...

Besides, it takes a cybernetic pterodactyl blowing up a space station to damage her suit.

then saying this...

I don't care if Boba Fett killed Godzilla with his pinky

...doesn't add up.

he just doesn't have Samus's firepower

That's debatable.

Besides Fett could survive the temperatures of Hoth. According to a few sites I've read, no way Samus could. Obviously we are not on Hoth...but I'm sure the theatre has a freezer..

I'll give the edge to Boba Fett, simply because he has a jet pack. Whenever I played old school Metroid, I had a habit of falling down those narrow pits into "radioactive sand" or whatever, and was almost never able to leap out of them before my health ran out.

As far as the new 3-D games go; I usually die on the first level, killed by a frog or something else indigenous. I suck at these games, so based on my own gaming experiences; Samus is a lousy fighter. :P

I'm having trouble deciding on this one. Both sides make compelling arguements. My Stars War fanboy is fighting my early Nintendo playing years.

Go with the person who fought Vader and lived to tell the tale.

Go with the person who fought and killed Jedi's during the Great Purge. Also Wookiees.

Go with the person who survived three trips down the throat of a Sarlaac (only one aside from Zorba known).

Go with the person who can actually survive cold temperatures.

Go with the person who led an army against the Vong.

Since the battlefield is in Hollywood, California, I don't see where cold temperatures would factor in at all.

Why the hell does he keep getting eaten by Sarlaacs? Once I can see happening. Twice is weird, but ok. But THREE TIMES? Why doesn't he use his jetpack to just fly over them?

 I'll simply counter with this:

Boba Fett has the Slave 1 on remote. He could easily call it in to even the odds against Samus if he felt it was necessary. He has done this on multiple occasions.
