It hit me who the person MJ was talking to has to be. I don't want to spoil it, though. The person I'm thinking of has a well-known grandparent. Also, another one of his relatives lost a fight pretty severely with one of the other heroes MJ called. How's that for cryptic yet still proving I've figured it out?

The best part was Harry saying he got to decide who joins the family. I like how that line was straight, to the point, and punctuated with violence.

Yeah, totally. Another aspect of this fight I really liked was the "I am Harry Osborn!" line. This self-declaration doesn't hold nearly as much weight as "I am Norman Osborn!"; and Kev, deliberately or not, capitalized on this.

On the other hand, everything with Simon is very interesting. His motives are very interesting, too. He's like a homicidal version of the way Marvel's editors seem to see Spider-Man fans. Quesada always says that the progress certain fans desire can logically only lead to Peter growing out of being Spider-Man. You've made THAT fan that Quesada seems to think we are the villain. It's even more interesting, because some of what Simon says has a kernal of truth in it. He's a character who is obviously completely nuts, yet on some level what he's saying makes sense.

I loved this part of the story as well. I love implicit Spidey commentary that is relevant. It didn't remind me so much of Quesada, but does address irrational fanboy outrage in a real fun way making it inclusive to both sides of the current Spidey divide. Cool stuff, Kev.

Don't worry. I've had his appearance in this series planned since the beginning. Because yes, he is a fantastic character. One of my favorites.
