And I'm sure it has nothing to do with the fact that I, personally, banned him. I mean, you don't think he'd be that petty, do you?

well done my friend [smilie=spidey_clap.gif] , he deserved it. [smilie=spidey_yeah_that.gif]

Thanks to those of you who have defended me, I really appreciate it.

If you want to check the thread again (6 PAGES! 6!) I went ahead and signed up to the board and made a post to try to dispell the notion that I'm some idiotic jackass who thinks he's going to break into comics writing this way and doesn't know how to create his own characters. Maybe it'll do something, maybe it won't.

Some of the posters there will acknowledge what you've posted and respect it and others (like that /b/ wanna be troll billy) won't., not much you can do about that. On the plus side, at least you've gotten more people to read your "fanfic" (hehe) and that's usually not a bad thing.

Great reply Morb. Very well written, but I'd expect nothing less.

Tread carefully Kevin, the street gangs there weild chains.

The people claiming it is stale only show the lack of imagination they have, as the character is returned once again to 20 years old...wow, we never seen that before. Keeping the character relevant? Please. Maybe it is time to create new Marvel Heroes, instead of destroying and retelling well-worn old stories.

Sure do. The good news is that it hasn't been nuked. The bad news is that nobody has replied. But we do have 25 page views so perhaps somebody read it...

I'm a little annoyed, but not surprised at all by this. Plugging fanfiction never works on official forums.

Maybe you ought to mention Quesada is interested.

Actually let's not spread that around so much. The guy was nice enough to reply to my email and tell me he'd check it out. I don't want to abuse that kindness by attaching his name to this like it's an endorsement everywhere. I don't think that would be very fair to him.

Thanks Jon, I appreciate hearing that. You've always been a good supportive guy to have around, and it's good to have you back on the site my friend.

And don't forget, #2 goes online at midnight (EST)! Less than 12 hours to go!
