We're going to record our September podcast in a few days. We'll be taking message board questions. Here's your chance to ask one on the air.
Here are the rules.
1) One question per poster
2) Make sure it's Spider-Man/ Marvel related
3) Feel free to aim the question at different members of the panel
4) Make the question short and concise. Don't make it multiple paragraphs.

NOTE: This is our last MB thread of the year due to specialty shows for the next three months! get your questions in NOW!

To everyone:

Hey, guys (and girl)! This is my first time getting to ask a question on the podcast, so I'll try to make it a memorable one!

Since all of you (except Ashley because she is still a relatively new reader) are diehard Spidey fans who have been reading the character for most of your lives, I propose a fun and unique challenge for you: name your ten favorite Spider-Man stories by decade (1960s-2010s). I made this topic into a thread on your message board and got some pretty interesting responses, so I'm eager to hear yours. Also, it will be refreshing to talk about some good comics instead of the current tripe.

NOTE: You don't have to read this next segment on the podcast; it's just an example of my question.

For instance, my favorite Spidey stories per decade are:

1960s:

10.) Turning Point (Amazing vol. 1 #11)
09.) Spider-Man No More (Amazing vol. 1 #50)

Hi friends, here’s a question for everyone on the panel:

Assuming the recent rumors are true, and slott is winding down his run on ASM, what author would you most like to see take over the title, whether a current Marvel writer or any other working comic writers?

Question for the gang: Has anyone seen the new Marvel's Spider-Man cartoon, and if so what's the verdict? It's funny that Josh Keaton is now playing Norman; I'd love to hear you get him back on the show to talk about it. [smilie=greengoblin.gif]

With Ike Perlemutter out of the equation due to some promotion mumbo jumbo and DC essentially curbstomping Marvel right now, are the odds Marvel will get it's shit together higher or lower, or the same?

Is the reason for Chip Zdarsky (AKA Chip Smith) poorly received run so far is that he has to emulate Slott?

And for shits and grins, what would your name be if you didn't have the name you have now, based on how you look?

Happy Hallow-Giving-Mas and a Happy New Year!

Hi Guys

As always it a pleasure to listen to guys on the podcast

my apologies for writing 4, please feel free to pick one.

1- If you were to suddenly own Marvel outright what would be your strategy to fix the problems it's been having for the last 10+ years?
To help here's a thread I started where I listed the things I would do
https://comicvine.gamespot.com/spider-m ... t-1890213/

2- If the rumours are true that Nick Spencer is set to take over ASM, what are your thoughts on it and what do you think he would bring to the table and is there anyone else you would have liked to take over the book, can you also elaborate on why you feel that he or she wouldn't be suitable for the position?

3- With Spider-Man/Peter now dating Bobbi aka Mockingbird, wouldn't he be cheating on her, since he's also dating Rebecca London over in the Spec book?

4- Has there been or is there an issue/book you constantly re-read and fine enjoyable no matter you re-read it?

Hello Brad and friends!

Thanks for taking my question

I've been thinking about this quite bit: In terms of the recent videogames, cinematic universe, and comics, what would the world be like for us fans of Marvel if Spider-Man was excised from the company's image because of Sony or some other studio holding the film rights? To elaborate, what if X-Men and Fantastic Four were integrated into the Marvel Cinematic Universe but Spider-Man was left to obscurity because of pettiness on the part of Marvel CEO's and executives not having the character's film rights?

Comment: Amazing Spider-Man: Renew Your Vows is great. It's a shame that Marvel commits almost zero effort to advertising the comic.

Hey Guys

To JR- One of the extras for the Spider-Man Todd Mcfarlane Omnibus is an interview with Todd from Marvel Age where he says after the Lizard and Torment arc the next will feature the Green Goblin with Venom to follow which never panned out due to restrictions Mcfarlane had with stories and villains from editorial, knowing how that Masques story turned out with Todd using the Jason Macendale demonic Hobgoblin do you think his original plan was to feature Harry as the Goblin murdering people for religious means before editorial smartly stepped in?

HEY ALL!!

I'm a newb on the message boards, but LOVE you guys and gal on the podcast and think you speak high volumes of passion when it comes to Spider-Man and all things related to him.

Question is for all. IF MCU was pulling a prank as they said they were with Zendaya's character Michelle being referenced as "MJ"..BUT NOT Mary Jane Watson and they were going to actually cast the character what would you think of Francesca Eastwood playing the part? She looks like Mary Jane to me! She does have the acting talent and red hair.

Do you put any stock into the recent "leak" that stated that Disney is upset with Marvel and they are now forcing Slott off ASM, putting him on the newly created "Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man" to keep him happy, and replacing him on ASM with Nick Spencer?

To the JR and Brad: Imagine for a moment Peter hadn't died in the MC2 continuity. How would he and Mary Jane have handled Mayday eventually moving from their home in Forest Hills and getting her own place? For the sake of argument lets say she would be living in Manhattan like Peter did when he moved out.

What were your thoughts on the most recent volume of Spidey 2099 and a very unlikely continuation in Defenders 2100?

For each of you, what's an insight about Spider-Man that you have, that most people don't?
