My interview with penciler Alex Saviuk is up, what did you think? I'll release more video clips soon.
The opening song is here.

Great episode! I wish there was some talk about Parallel Lives, though. That's a great book with gorgeous art. The best of Saviuk's stuff that I've seen.

I think I was expecting Saviuk to be a lot older and weaker sounding, but no! He was robust and full of life! I'm glad that this interview finally took place after so many years!

Great interview--the guy's got some cool stories and he does draw great Spider-Man stuff. While listening I googled that commission you talked about and it is absolutely gorgeous. :D

Saviuk seems to fall into that odd line of creators who were consistent as hell throughout their work, and while they were a safe pair of hands, they were overshadowed by bigger names. I believe he outlasted the likes of McFarlane, Larsen and Bagley whilst working on Web of and then the Animated Adventures series. Nice insight into the mind of a comic veteran as always, great job Brad.

Great interview Brad, I loved Saviuk's run on Web when I was a kid. It seems from his point of view, he was lucky to stumble into the role. Glad he did!

I never understand why guys like Saviuk, Buscema or even Larsen aren't brought back on anniversary issues like the upcoming #700? I know Brad would love to see a Saviuk MJ pin-up in that book!

It's Spidey' 50th Anniversary, why not 50 variant covers from 50 different artists?

That would certainly be a record, but damn would it be expensive!
