Re: Why I can't seem to enjoy Spider-Man anymore

I haven't been a Spider-Man fan as long as some people on the message board, but I just can't go on with the current state of not just the comics but every medium. Spider-Man is my all time favorite hero, but I will not pick up anything being written by Slott. I continue to read Spider-Man comics, b...

Re: ComicsAlliance on why Spider-Man is better than Batman

Batman was the first Superhero I was ever into, but that was only because my parents would buy me merchandise from Batman Returns such as lunch boxes, sleeping bags, etc. but Spider-man will always be my number 1. Batman tends to get rather repetitive as far as character development goes, and there'...

Re: MTV Spider-Man

I used to hate this show as it was coming out, but recently I took to watching it and it wasn't as bad as I remembered and certainly not as bad as people are making it out to be. Though I find it a bit weird that this is supposed to be in the same continuity as the Sam Raimi Spider-man films, especi...

Re: Marvel writers and social media

What gets me, is that the Higher-ups at Marvel continue to tolerate this level of unprofessionalism. Any other employee from any other company would fire that person in a heartbeat if they exhibited that kind of behavior. I find it sad that Dan slot's reputation is based not on his writing abilities...

Re: Have you ever dropped Spider-Man and Why?

I've been reading Amazing Spider-man since 2002 and I've reached the point where I just can't take it anymore. I Gave volume 4 a chance and it failed on so many levels. As of last month, I officially dropped Amazing Spider-man after reading that abysmal Issue 4. I've also decided that I'm boycottin...

Re: The Artists We Enjoy

This is difficult but My top 5 favorite artists in Spider-man's massive history, would be: 5.) Terry Dodson 4.) Steve McNiven 3.) Todd McFarlane 2.) John Romita Sr. 1.) Sal Buscema There's not a lot of artists that I don't like, but I would never want to see Humberto Ramos come back to Spider-man. H...

Re: Spider-Man Next-Gen Video Game

Am I the only one who loves the Movie-games based off the Raimi trilogy? The graphics for the 2002 game were phenomenal for their time, I Loved the boss fights in that game, especially Vulture and Goblin; and Bruce Campbell's narration didn't hurt either. Many people still regard Spider-man 2 (2004)...

Re: Spidey Comics vs Spidey Games!

I might be in the minority, but even though I Love the comics, I almost get an adrenaline rush when some of the Spidey games. My personal favorites are the movies games from Raimi's trilogy. I just have so much fun playing those, especially the second one. Spider-Man 3 the game always gets unwarrant...

Re: How successful can Peter Parker be?

I'm sorry, but Bruce Wayne is Batman, Clark Kent is Superman, and Peter Parker is Spider-man. I refuse to accept Miles Morales as the new Spider-man for the simple reason that he's not the Spider-man I grew up with, and also for the fact that Marvel only created him to pander to different demograph...

Re: Spider-Man's Greatest Feats of Agility/Speed and Strengt

I always felt that Mark Millar did an excellent job portraying Spider-man as powerful badass the way he's meant to be. The Fight scenes were brutal, he throws cars like nothing, and best of all he beat the living crap out of Venom, Granted is wasn't Eddie Brock, but it still made for a sweet ass fig...

Re: How successful can Peter Parker be?

It almost seems like their doing this on purpose, trying to see how far they can push the fans to the edge. Rich, CEOs are absolutely relatable the average Joe right? Marvel is the poster child for hypocrisy. Or, now that they have Miles, they don't need to have Peter be the Spider-Man that fills t...
