Re: Podcast # 317 MB Q&A August 2014 What did you think?

The Walking Dead is a big hit because women like to touch themselves while looking at Daryl? I have to be honest, this kind of misogynistic garbage has sadly become typical for the show. The frat house mentality is too overbearing and makes the show difficult to enjoy, to say nothing for what it ha...

Re: What was the last comic you read?

Dude, I'm going through the Complete Case Files right now. Volume 7 comes out next month. Tell me what you think of The Apocalypse War once you've read it. I'll be starting soon, thanks to you. :) I can't wait to hear your thoughts. I'll fully confess volume 1 is a little uneven due to early instal...

Re: What was the last comic you read?

Read the first volume of iZombie by Chris Roberson and Mike Allred. I thought it was a lot of fun and I really like the characters, especially Gwen. The art by Allred is just freaking gorgeous. Every page of this thing is beautiful. Finished "The Day The Law Died!" epic from Judge Dredd. Some more ...

Re: Reading Projects.

All of Judge Dredd. Its kind of slow going since The Complete Case Files are only getting released at two a year Stateside, and for the current stuff I have to buy from the UK. Still, I had some Christmas money and I ordered The Pit and both volumes of Tour of Duty. I also picked up the re-release o...

Re: What was the last comic you read?

So I'm about halfway through the Fantastic Four Omnibus by John Byrne. Most of it is pretty good, but it has the same problem that a LOT of Byrne stuff happens. Mainly creepy relationships between older men and younger woman.

Re: Captain America 2 Thread (Anticipation/Eventual Discussi

I LOVE the first one (it's my second-favorite superhero movie after Spider-Man 2 ), but I have no faith in this one. The trailer looked bad, I hate the Winter Soldier, I don't like Cap's new look, the directors make me raise an eyebrow, and so on. Yeah, it looks like a generic political thriller an...

Re: Anti-OMD/BND = Delta House (Where the Sexy Lives)

Hey guys. Its been awhile, I've been insanely busy. I spent the last year teaching high school, but I lost my job when parts of the Affordable Health Care kicked in. So now I'm back in school for Paralegal Studies. After that its Law School. Anyway, hope everyone had a good Christmas. Happy New Year!

CrazyChris wrote:Did you read the Sensational Spider-Man Annual by Fraction? It's pretty much a masterpiece.
Yes. I also recommend Sensational Spider-Man #40, The Book of Peter, by Roberto Aguira-Sacasa and Clayton Crain. It's essentially one giant middle finger to One More Day.

I'm just going to say that I have a completely un-ironic love for the Michelinie run, and even *I* won't defend Cardiac.

The only way this could possibly make me any happier would be if Jason Todd died again and Grant Morrison never wrote anything again for the rest of his life

So there's a TON of controversy surrounding Orson Scott Card writing for the new Superman digital ongoing. And I thought this Gutters had too funny a take on it to not share.

I'm totally with you Dornwolf. I also really love the whole "Marvel Vs. DC" crossover. :)
