Podcast # 506-Avengers: Infinity War Review

The Crawlspace crew assembles for their review of Avengers: Infinity War.
We give the pro’s and con’s of Spider-Man’s appearance. We also review the movie as a whole. The group is pretty divided on certain aspects of the film and it leads to a good debate. Warning, there are massive spoilers in the review.

  1. One of the best MCU and superhero films of all time. The film brilliantly balances all of its characters while giving Thanos a fair amount of character development.

  2. It was a very good debate, and I enjoyed the show. It didn’t bother me that much at the end, like Ashley said, he is still a kid. Also, my first impression was that it reminded me of David Tennant’s Doctor Who “I don’t want to go” more than any kind of whining

  3. Not sure which bothered me more – the number of mechanical arms Peter had, or the number of times he said “Mr. Stark” .

  4. I enjoyed this debate, but was frustrated that no one brought up the fact that regardless of whether you know these people are coming back from the snap, it’s about the journey – and the cost it’ll require. For Thanos, he said it cost him everything to do it. It’ll be the same to reverse it. Since (most of) the remaining heroes are the OG Avengers with contracts ending, expect higher stakes for their lives in the next one. To me, that’s another layer for just us hard core fans who knew better watching those specific characters biting the dust.
